If I don't miss anybody else, I miss me some Sameera. This little girl is so lively, funny, energetic and silly. I wish I could pick up the phone and hear "Hi Aunt T.T!" with her high pitched voice screaming through the receiver. I wish I could be there to tell her no more hot sauce (she loves hot sauce on everything).
Sameera, if Grandma is reading this to you, guess what? I'm getting you a gift girl! I know you're going to ask for more than one gift. But this one will be really special because Auntie has them too. They are instruments that you tie around your ankles. They make music when you dance. Since Aunt T is a stepper, I purchased a pair for myself and then I thought about you. I know you also love to dance and thought you would be excited to make music with your feet.
And thank you for the art and letters. I have them taped to my wall. I reminds me of you. Thank you for spending the weekend with me before I left for DC/Africa. You are a beautiful young girl who is loved by this family. I hope they you can learn something from me and that I am forever making a good impression on you.
Anyway, I posted some pictures I thought you may like to see. I'll talk to you soon.
Love,
Aunt T.T

Heath Lambert was our dance instructor. We learned a South African Dance, Hip Hop routine and something else that I forget. Does this look like your dance class? |
We were learning how to dance the Baboon. Hint hint...Look at their ankles. That's your gift. |
This is Pelu. Her name means Heart. She made me think of you :) |
This is the tent I slept in overnight. I'm going to take you and Quanaja one day. Get your sleeping bags :) |
This is me sitting on the edge of a dam |
